Our Desert Paradise Right next to the main entrance of the Joshua Tree National Park, is a beautiful natural wilderness area. It is
the place we call home, 29 Palms. The town is small, yet we have thousands of tourists every year who visit us, the Park and the surrounding areas. The peace and serenity offered by the
desert attracts a large community of artists as well.
Our community is a special place. It has taken many people from many backgrounds to form what is now "Our Desert Paradise." While we have many
of the same things that larger cities have to offer, it could be said that we just have less of them. We boast one drive-in movie theatre, which is great in the summer, and new businesses are always springing up.
With an influx of people moving out from the large cities such as Los Angeles, the future of 29 Palms is bright.
